SLOW

Slow (original title)

A film by Sascha Seifert

Underneath bushes and hedges, along alleys and fields, in the woods and on meadows, they roam around peacefully, in beauty, with dignity. Unimpressed by the speed of life around them. Always careful but also constantly ready for stunts beyond human sense of gravity. They glide, they climb, they dive, they enjoy. A meditative journey into the mystical world of those marvelous creatures popularly known - but yet ignored far too often - as snails and a beautiful & cinematic walking meditation. Slow depicts quite fittingly the life of snails. A peaceful slow documentary about life in nature; the embodiment of slowness, far away from mechanical clocks which have caused so much trouble that we now have to create events like Slow Art Day to remind us that we’re moving too fast.
